We are very sad to announce the death of Ed McDaniel, a pilot who will be missed by many in our club and in the ballooning community at large.

Ed’s friend Wayne Fortney posted the following:
“Ed’s service will be at Lotz Funeral home 1330 East Main St, Salem Va
There will be a viewing at 9:30 am and a service at 10:30 am Saturday (March 18, 2017). Brenda would like for everyone to dress casual as Ed would! Please share so all our friends get the word!! “

The board of the CBA voted to make a donation to Angels of Assisi on behalf of our club, in lieu of flowers, as the family requested. Members can post pictures and share memories of Ed on the CBA Facebook page.
