It’s that great time of year when we get to send some kids to camp! There are two BFA Camps this year for teens to attend (ages 13-18) and we would love to support a couple with scholarships. We pay the camp costs, the youth is responsible for the transportation costs. (This can be done by fundraising.)

Students who want to apply need to write a 1-page essay on why they want to go to camp, and get the written recommendation of a member of the Carolinas Balloon Association. Email these to Kim McKinney, at kimmac@aol.com. The deadline is March 20, 2018. The winners will be named by early April.

One of the scholarships offered will be in memory of former CBA member Jo Cline, who encouraged many people on their road to becoming a pilot.
