We are now taking applications for scholarships for summer youth balloon camps. If you are, or know of, a teen who is interested in attending a US balloon camp next summer, the application process requires the recommendation of a Carolinas Balloon Association member and a 1-page essay on why you/they want to attend a camp and what camp you/they want to attend.

Two scholarships will be offered to deserving youth, one in memory of Jo Cline, who gave so much to our ballooning community during her lifetime. The scholarships pay for camp tuition, but do not include transportation to camp. Priority is given to first time applicants. Recipients are limited to winning two scholarships during their teen years, and scholarships can not be not be received two years in a row.
